Integrated Management System

We care about quality, the environment environment and the health and safety of our and health of our workers.

INSTALACIONES MADRILEÑAS SECIS S.L., a company dedicated to the execution of construction and refurbishment works for homes and offices, has, as a strategic objective, to achieve the highest satisfaction of the interested parties, in particular the clients, minimizing the possible environmental impacts and the risks for the safety and health of the workers.

SECIS management considers that in order to achieve this strategic objective it is necessary to implement a management system that integrates quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety management aspects, with process management and continuous improvement as the basic elements to achieve the objectives.

SECIS Management approves this Integrated Management System Policy, which is consistent with the nature, magnitude and risks of its activities, products and services. With this Integrated Management System Policy, the Management and employees undertake the following commitments:

1. Commitments related to quality management

  • To orient the management and development of SECIS' activity to the satisfaction of the interested parties, establishing the processes and procedures necessary to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Identify SECIS stakeholders and identify the requirements that meet their needs and expectations, bearing in mind the strategy and objectives defined by Management.
  • Define quality objectives that promote continuous improvement of the management system.
  • To provide the human, material and financial resources necessary for the success of the management system and to achieve the quality objectives defined by the Management.
  • To involve the Management, managers and employees in the orientation to the interested parties, and in the application and active participation of the requirements established in this Integrated Management Policy. To develop, apply and maintain a quality management model based on the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, which, among other aspects, is oriented towards continuous improvement.

2. Commitments related to environmental management

  • Comply with and enforce compliance and, where possible, exceed the requirements of legislation and other environmental standards.
  • Identify the environmental aspects inherent to its activity in order to respect and protect the environment.
  • Integrate environmental aspects in management processes, in relations with stakeholders, especially subcontractors, and in the analysis of the context and of risks and opportunities.
  • Promote pollution prevention, sustainable use of resources, waste management, adaptation to climate change and protection of ecosystems.
  • Provide the necessary resources and training to workers, promote awareness and responsibility of workers with respect to environmental risks derived from the activity, and take all necessary measures to prevent or minimize the effect of environmental risks.
  • To involve the Management, managers and workers in the respect for the environment, and in the application and active participation of the requirements established in this Integrated Management Policy.
  • To develop, implement and maintain an environmental management model based on the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard, which, among other aspects, is oriented to continuous improvement.

3. Commitments related to occupational health and safety management.

  •  Comply with and enforce compliance and, where possible, exceed the requirements of current occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Provide the necessary resources and training to workers, promote awareness and responsibility of workers with respect to occupational hazards, and take all necessary measures to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, eliminating risks.
  • Work with our suppliers to improve their products and their compliance with the provisions of this Integrated Management Policy, particularly with regard to the health and safety of workers.
  • Apply the same safety and risk prevention measures to the employees of subcontractors working in SECIS workplaces as they apply to their own employees.
  • Implement procedures for action and investigation of incidents and accidents that have consequences on the safety and health of workers, with special attention to cases of particularly sensitive people, and those related to road safety of workers in their travels within the working day.
  • Involve the Management, managers and workers in the respect, application and active participation of the requirements established in this Integrated Management Policy, in particular with regard to the safety and health of workers.
  • Communicate this Integrated Management Policy to all interested parties using the usual communication tools in the company, ensure that it is understood by all workers, review it whenever necessary to adapt it to the regulatory framework and to the purpose and objectives of the organization.
  • To develop, implement and maintain an occupational health and safety management model based on the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard, which, among other aspects, is oriented to continuous improvement.

4. Other commitments

  •  Periodically review the Integrated Management System to ensure its suitability, adequacy and continued efficiency.
  •   Evaluate opportunities for improvement of the management system and processes.
  •  Submit the Integrated Management System to verification by an independent expert of its compliance with the reference standards.
